Mozilla Firefox 22 is a web browser developed by Mozilla Foundation , available for download in full install version for Windows platforms from legacy sources. This version of Firefox was officially released on 2013-06-25 for public access and a brief summary of important updates and change log pertaining to this edition can be read below.

Firefox 22 is released with many new functionalities including enabling WebRTC by default, rendering hi-resolution text using display scaling,  ability to change playback rate of HTML5 Multimedia files and displaying download progress icon in Mac editions.

Changes in this edition are WebGL rendering performance improvements, word-wrap display of plain text webpages, ability to use Pointer Lock API outside full screen, and disallowing access to components object from web content.

In the HTML5 elements addition date & time elements has been incorporated. Apart from various security fixes, this edition fixed the slow scrolling of hi-resolution touch pads. This edition has a known bug of unable to start Firefox in locked profile.
